We really like Nectar in Mt Lookout Square for more upscale brunch, or Habits in Oakley for more low-key.

We've been going to Annabelle's in Mt. Lookout Square just about every other Saturday since it opened a few months ago. They've got some great unique egg dishes and they set my daughter up with pancakes that have a cute face made of fruit on top. The style reminds me of some of the little breakfast places we used to go to in Berkeley.

Sugar'n Spice on Reading is also incredibly awesome if you want kitsch and an tasty, inexpensive omelet the size of your forearm.

I've enjoyed several Sunday brunches at Teller's in Hyde Park. However, it's been quite a while for no particular reason.

If we are Saturday brunching, we like to get Hathaway's instead of First Watch :) The grilled biscuits HAVE to have some crack on them or something equally addictive... Sundays are tough - and we like to just walk somewhere downtown...

Greenup Cafe is my favorite for sure. I always want to order everything on the menu, it's a real problem. I didn't know about the 1 pm rule, I guess I don't get out much for brunch!

You know, I really don't have a problem with First Watch. Does that make me unoriginal? :)
