Last weekend, Terry and I had the pleasure of hanging out with Ben Chapman, a freelance writer for the Washington Post’s travel section, discussing (of all things) Cincinnati Chili. I love the writing process (and I do the same thing as a freelance writer): I love to see where my contributions lie beyond the quotes. And I do get quoted! It was fun teaching Ben how to eat a 3-way (he went to Skyline after he met up with Terry and me, so apparently he didn’t quite learn the first time), and talking about its origins in pastitso (which is like Greek lasagna).
And I did watch him eat an entire 6-way.
Check it out here, and if anyone has access to a copy of the paper itself, will you scan it? It’s darn hard to find a copy of the WaPo around here.
