Mini-Review: McCauley’s Pub

I went out to lunch (a “working lunch”, so no pictures) at a place I’d never tried before– McCauley’s Pub, which is on Fields Ertel (towards Maineville). I’m having a heck of a time finding it listed anywhere– but it’s great! Very hole-in-the wall, with a great burger. Tuesday is their Burger Day, where you get free fries with a burger. The burgers are cooked well, but still juicy, and you can add a variety of toppings to the burger while still maintaining a reasonable price ($7 or so per person). I had a cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, mayo, onions and mustard; others at the table had mushroom burgers. All of us really enjoyed it. It’s particularly good for lunch, as the service was fast and efficient (two of my favorite things). Check it out– a good deal, very local, and pretty darn delicious.
