I’m sad to report that Just Cured is closing its operations. Just Cured produced some of the best smoked salmon I’ve ever had– all locally produced and very high quality. He partnered, at one point, with the Jean Robert group (pre-transition) and sold his products at grocery stores and at Luken’s at Findlay Market (which is where I bought it).
I’m incredibly sad– Michael is a great guy, with great product, and I hope he’ll at least stick around the blogosphere; his comments and thoughts are always appreciated. He is, according to the post, keeping the blog up and adding recipes.
I’ll be very interested to see what he’ll be doing in the future– and wish him the absolute best.

Sad to hear, I really enjoyed the product and your blog Michael, your comments on the Pigalls closing was the best thing I have read about dining (note I said dining, not eating) in Cincinnati. We all wish you luck on your next venture and I am sure we will continue to enjoy running into you around town.
