Romy Jung, former chef of the Palace (who left less than a year ago), is having issues staying in one place. He moved from the Palace to Vito’s Bistro, where he only stayed a few months. Now, the Dayton Daily News reports that Chef Jung has now left L’Auberge in Dayton– they’re on the hunt for a new chef.
If you want to try Chef Jung’s cuisine, I think you’ll have to go elsewhere– the article states that he wants to stay in the area. Any ideas on where he might go?
Thanks to Michelle for the tip!

I know a few people who have worked closely with the guy who always say how talented, yet crazy and impossible to work with he is. Truly sad…
I have worked with him, and yes he is “VERY” talented, but very hard to work for. I couldn’t handle him. Driving an 1 1/2, and working 12 to 14 hr days just to get yelled at was no fun. He almost made me feel like I wasn’t good at what I do, and I know that I am. I don’t think downing your employees helps them learn, or better themselfs.
