I try to not get too political here, but this is something I truly believe in: No on Issue 9. It affects businesses, small businesses– like the ones I talk about all the time here on wine me, dine me. It has impact past the Streetcar, and into the viability of the metro area as a whole. Don’t support the streetcar? Okay. But I’m sure you wouldn’t want to keep Cincinnati from being connected by rail to Columbus and Cleveland, would you? Or have to vote on every similar project? Vote no on 9.

Like you, I also try to separate politics and business, but this Issue #9 has such far-reaching impact for the city’s potential – economic, social, cultural – that I too seem to be dipping my toe into the political water “quietly but boldly.”
I agree with your post today and I hope our voters turn out en masse this time and shout a resounding ‘no’ on Issue 9 in early November.
Thanks for saying something about the issue.
