I don’t normally talk about crime here, but I am just so saddened to hear about the manager owner of Ambar India (for the record, my very favorite Indian restaurant) being involved in a shooting at the restaurant tonight. There’s nothing online about it yet, but WLWT reported that the shooting happened around 10, there was no robbery (the victim still had his wallet) and the victim ran to Olives for help. He’s expected to be okay– thank goodness.
My best thoughts go to the family and employees of this Clifton institution. More news as I hear… and if anyone has updates, please comment.
Update: It’s up on the Enquirer now. And WLWT.

The shooting happened at a restaurant is important?? I’m curious as to WHY there was a shooting.
There’s still no motive. And yes, it’s important– the victim, Jessy Singh, owns many Indian restaurants in the community, and they’re popular destinations around town.

I understand Jessy got into some trouble awhile back. Could this be a result of that?

This story totally died. Any follow up info? Something seems afoot.
