Jean-Robert and the CSO Make Beautiful Music Together

by julie on September 22, 2009

(Man, am I clever.)

Jean-Robert de Cavel, chef-in-residence at the Midwest Culinary Institute, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra will be pairing up to present “Pre-Concert Movable Feasts”, starting October 2. Each Friday, at the Critic’s Club, Jean-Robert will cater dinner to benefit the MCI Scholarship Fund. Cost is $50, gratuity included, with a cash bar.

Look for some billboards around town touting it– I will definitely try this some Friday night!

He has also teamed up with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra to benefit the free summer parks and educational programs. It is a one time event only, Sunday October 4, five course gourmet menu paired with wines. The menu and wines are devine, and there is an open bar. The notes on the KSO’s Facebook page lists the wine pairings with gourmet menu. We are so fortunate that Jean-Robert has stayed in Greater Cincinnati, and given to this community so generously with his time and talent.
