Lots and lots of events…
Lunch on the Land is an idea similar to some others around the country– chefs meet guests somewhere that is not a kitchen (I’ve done an Outstanding in the Field dinner in produce warehouse, no kidding) and get a little experimental. You, as a guest, sit at a long, communal table and enjoy.
This year’s is at Turner Farm at 1 PM on Sunday, September 19, and features:
Amy Tobin, EQ and the Party Source
Jean-Robert de Cavel, Jean-Robert’s Table
Julie Francis, Nectar
Summer Genetti, The Palace at the Cincinnatian
De Stewart, Herbs and Spice and Everything Nice
Victor Brown, Molly Malone’s
Joanne Drilling, Murphin Ridge
Matt Madison, Madisono’s Gelato
Luke Radtkey, the Comet and Culinary Kung Fu
Rita Heikenfeld
This one’s a little steep– $175 per person, which includes food, wine pairings, and a commemorative plate produced by Rookwood Pottery for the event.
