Hello, Honey open on Vine

by julie on July 16, 2012

A new ice cream shop opened on Vine– and they’re going homemade. Hello, Honey (in the old Red Squirrel location, 633 Vine Street) is doing house-made, preservative- and artificial flavor-free ice creams (down to the caramel and marshmallow, says their menu). On top of the ice creams (no pun intended), they’re also doing waffles, honey toast (bread, butter, honey and ice cream) and various sundaes.

Sounds good– looking forward to trying it.

Any idea what their hours are? I couldn’t find a website. Thanks!

Sounds good. They should put up a more prominent sign. I missed it until I read this. Maybe some good introductory promotion on along the sidewalks of vine street would lure some customers in.

their yelp entry says till 6 every night, which seems a little dumb considering they’re a desert shop. they definitely need some better promotion, website, anything.

    here’s their vague yelp page – http://www.yelp.com/biz/hello-honey-cincinnati

They are absolutely delicious. My coworkers went on a field trip to get some last week. I had the browned butter caramel and it was like eating a cloud. A cloud that tastes like butter and caramel. I wanted more as soon as I was finished with my cup!
