Lindsay Laubenstein, formerly of Emilia Enoteca (and currently at Igby’s) was recently published in Gaz Regan’s 101 Best New Cocktails, 2013. Her cocktail, created for Emilia Enoteca, uses Buffalo Trace, Creme de Violette and Adam Elmegirab’s Aphrodite bitters to create Myrrah’s Passion. I’ve had it, and it’s a delicious, floral, interesting drink.
Gaz Regan is considered one of the leading bartenders in the world, and is the author of the Joy of Mixology, a central text to the modern cocktail revolution (and I danced with him at Tales one year, he’s a very charming guy). Laubenstein is active in the Cincinnati and Ohio chapters of the United States Bartender’s Guild, and most recently designed and executed the cocktail list for Barrio Tequileria.
